Have you ever had this happen to you? You know, you have read a book in the Bible several times, and then all of a sudden one day you reread it, or certain verses within it, and it feels as if you are reading something new for the first time? The verses pop out and speak to you and you say to yourself, "this wasn't here before!" (as if the book somehow changed!). This is exactly what happened to me recently when I reread these verses from Isaiah. They seemed to speak exactly to me and my ministry...
"Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the Lord.
Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
How beautiful!!
